Scottsland offers a whole host of events for outdoor enthusiasts including The Chase, a sporting event inspired by the stag hunt described in the first canto of Lady of the Lake, which will follow the original route from Callander. Participants of this innovative family friendly event involving running, walking and cycling will chase the iconic 'spirit' stag.

Guided walks and cruises also form part of the programme and include a heritage trail around Callander and a classic car run through the Trossachs. Booking is essential for the Loch Katrine & ScottsLand Tour - led by a National Park Ranger you will be taken to some of the places that inspired Sir Walter Scott's epic poem.

The Scott Homeland Cruise, run by Loch Katrine Experience, is a special two-hour cruise which will also allow you to discover how the landscapes of Loch Katrine so impressed the poet.
